I've noticed in the last month or so whenever I come around tight turns I hear a chirping noise almost like the back tires are breaking grip. I thought that's all it was until today I had my windows down and was turning sharp into a parking spot I was going way too slow for the tires to break grip and wasn't even on the throttle, but I heard the sound coming from its usual place somewhere near the rear of the truck. Since I was going slower it was more drawn out like a squealing noise. Any ideas what it could be?

It's just your tires. The tire shop I work at works on over 200 vehicles a day and every time you pull a vehicle out of the bay into the parking lot and do all your sharp turning to get it out, the tires are constantly squealing. It's just a mixture of what tire compound, and the surface you are driving on.

Your exactly right! The clutch disks in the limited slip rear end wears out and cases them not to slip on turns and try to stay engaged! You'll need to replace the clutch pack! If you have a dealer do it I work there so I know it will run about $300-$500 depending on rear end 8.8, 9.5, or 10.75 and cost of fluid! Usually $15 or so a quart! Its about 2-3 hr job and can be done at home with proper tools! Any more questions as me! Also may I recommend installing a locker or Detroit trulock possibly

See I thought it was the tires but today when I pulled into that parking spot slow and heard it, it wasn't a tire chirping sound but more of a metal-on-metal squeal. also little things I've noticed now that y'all mentioned clutch pack and all is sometimes pulling uphill with mild throttle the truck will sorta jump as if the gearing in the rear is skipping or something, and it's not with the motor it's with the drive of the wheels. Plus when I take off I do hear a chatter sound, up until now I thought it was just my s***ty exhaust tips coming loose, but now you've got me wondering. It doesn't just do that with the wheels turned though it does that on every takeoff

Change fluid in rear end... Add friction modifier... If it still does it.. you need clutch packs... Or ignore it.

I'll try to run it by the shop next time I'm back home from school. I don't need this truck crapping out on me away from home haha

That's no going to fix it at all just a waste of $100 with 3 quarts of 75w-140 and a friction modifier as well as silicon for the gasket! I am a Ford tech and when I did my rear end I went Witt valveoline syntech it has friction modifier in it already! Don't do the fluid change like I said just a waste of money! Also worse thing you can do is ignore it! It will lead into hurting and causing excessive wear on other components!

I beg to differ. My 04 has done it in the past, change the fluid useing lucas syntec diff oil and friction modifier and clutch packs return to normal. If you havent changed diff oil in a while, I would say just needs a fluid change. Now if I was a ford tech I would sell you some clutch packs lol, sadly im just a truck and coach licensed tech.... Oh and total cost if you do it yourself in fluid is around 60$, worth a shot.
