Just be thankfull these plugs last as long as they do.
I'v got over 100,000 miles on my truck..bought it use so I dont know if the plugs are original.I was going to change them but the dealer said DONT if its running good.So instead I took it to work and put it on the scope..everything looks fine so I'll at least wait until summer, then change them just for sh*ts and giggles when I have nothing better to do.I do from time to time..maybe 3 times a year..run a can of fuel injector cleaner thru the rail to keep things as clean as possable..that combined with my driving habits should cut way down on any carbon build up around the plugs...but I'll still soak them overnight when I'm ready.

91K on the originals. Getting ready for the change. Got the tools and plugs. Just need the right timing for a cold engine. These plugs are not gapable by the way. Check them of coarse before they get installed foe cracks or damage to the electrode

Thanks for all the replies to my post. Sorry for delay in getting back to you.

Turns out one of the plugs was cracked.

I ended up installing the Brisk plugs from Troyer performance. Only to take them out and install FoMoCo's. Truck seems to like those better.

FYI I'm selling my Air Force 1 intake and possibly the Magna Flow Single-in/Single out Cat-Back exhaust if any one is interested. Can I post things for sale here? The intake is CARB legal, but didn't come with the sticker, so I'll have to remove it when I smog it anyway.

Thanks again for all the replies.

Have any of you had experience installing and electric fan kit on these trucks? Is it worth it?

I finally finished my install today too. Turns out two motorcraft plugs I got were defective and finally showed a code.
