Default Looking for upgrade advice...

I have a 2006 Ford F150 FX4 that I want to do some upgrades on for my husband while he is deployed. One of the things I am looking into is a new air intake that will help with fuel mileage and help the truck pick up a little.
I am also wanting to put a brush guard on for him and want something a little beefy and dont know who I should order from.
Could you please help the wife of a dedicated ford man make his truck look good for when he gets home???

new air intake wont help with mpg. it will put more air, then the computer will see that its running lean and will adjust adding more fuel in the equation. but it will breath better and can feel trhoatty

To answer your question, for the CAI it depends on your price range. If your looking for something cheaper try ebay. If you want to spend more $ just search for CAI 06 F150 in Google and find one you like. For the brush guard try Craigslist.com. Good luck and tell you husband thank you.....

Air Intake: K&N, AEM, or Airraid. Around $250

Bumpers: Ranchhand, FabFours, RoadArmor.$1000-$3000

He's a lucky man to have a woman like you!
