Spare Tire Ideas?
What do people do with their spare tires if theyve uprgarded to larger tires. I just got 35s and I got an extra one that im planning on mounting on one of the stock rims i got off my truck, do people typically keep them in the bed? or is there any way to fit it under the truck where the stock spare is? Thanks

dont strike the spare
I am running 35s on my truck, that I bought used as a set of 4. I just keep the stock spare under there, in case of emergency. Running two different tire sizes like that can tear up the differential, but I like to have it as an option. I doubt that the 35 will fit up in the stock place - someone else might have other experience. If not, maybe just keep that tire at home to switch out for the flat (which is hopefully not gonna happen). I have a small compressor in one of my tool boxes, so at the very worst I could inflate it (if possible) to get to a shop. If youre not too worried about losing space in the bed, maybe thats a good option - figure out a way to lock it down. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

haha well my uncle doesnt have a tow truck so I'm trying to figure this out
and to redefinition yeah i agree im almost positive it wont fit, im thinking if i could shove it under my tool box that might work nice but i doubt it will fit, the bottom of my box maybe clears the bed by a foot or so so itll be a tight squeeze.
if anyone else has gone through this some more help would be good. thanks

You can spend some money and get a tire carier. Some take up the a good deal of the bed others are less bulky. About your only option short of no spare or just letting it loose in the bed.

remove the spare and put a train horn in its place
