Sound enhancement?
I want to make my truck sound a little better, I have an 07 F150 5.4L V8 with everything stock. I was looking at the flowmaster super 44 series because I would like to get a more aggressive sound for a reasonable price. Opinions???

Nut up or shut up
Told the same thing to a guy in a different thread, I recently put on a Flowmaster 40 with true dual 3" pipes on my truck and it roars when I turn it on, I can't get enough of it. I recommend you look up youtube videos on different mufflers to see what you like. Each one has a different sound.

I don't like flowmasters. They're what gives every other Chevy on the road that stupid flapping exhaust sound.
Glasspacks are my favorite sound, but they're not for everybody.

No muffler! Do the 2.5" Offroad x-pipe with true duals. That's what I have in my 5.4 and I love it and it is pretty loud. If you want to run a muffler ten I would do flowmaster super 10 series they're the best mufflers imo

ive tried the loudest mufflers from dynomax and magnaflow and now have straight pipe on my f150 5.4liter. they are all about the same, nice and loud and all have drone at about 1800-2000 rpm.
only thing i havent tried yet is the dynomax vt which is supposedly designed specifiaclly to eliminate drone.

if you try it outlet me know how it is, i think they even have a moneyback guarantee

I've been a glasspack fan since my first f150 back I'm the 80s...1978 F150 supercab, 351W, 3-speed and true dual glasspacks dumped before the tire.

I have looked up other options, including some of the ones previously mentioned. However, I still like the sound of the Flowmaster super 44 series the best. My next question for the ones who do have this or a similar exhaust, is how loud is the drone?
