everything is hot and has a nasty burning smell to it. The PCM is really hot and seems to be where the smell is coming from bit not sure.
Any advice please! Not sure but don't want my truck to burn down or leave me stranded

Engine oil leak onto the hot exhaust manifold maybe? Does it smell like burning oil?

Not sure exactly on the smell. Smelt like burnt electrical. PCM was hot. Drove today with no smells so I'm not really sure...

A stuck caliper/overheated brakes can have a strong, almost electrical smell, particularly if you're not familiar with that particular smell. The next time you smell it, check to see if any of the rotors are way hotter than the others. Be careful not to burn yourself.
