snap on vs Lisle
So which is better the snap on or Lisle spark plug removal tool for the 5.4 3v ? I found both but the snap on is 200 bucks and the lisle is 90 bucks . Which is the best tool

The extra $110 bucks is to pay for the name! I looked at one my Snap-on guy had on his truck, and it looks identical to Lysle.

Lisle i got my kit off ebay for 60 bucks

Thanks ^^^ guys i bought the lisle worked excellent 90 bucks

My neighbor is a Snap on dealer so I buy a lot off of him, but if it's something I don't need very often and he has it on his truck, he let's me borrow it.

Lisle is the way to go, I use snapon every day all day at work and most of those super speciality tools like that are the same tool in a different box with an additional name(snapon Mac, Marco ect ect) stamped in the side. But if you don't run a truck account and have the cash on hand buy the lisle for sure cuz it's the same thing and the same warrenty
Btw good luck and the plugs just make sure you do a few fuel cleaner treatments befor. I highly recommend the bg intake decarbonizer service with some 44k in the tank Good luck sir |
For the spark plugs I would go with the Lisle tool. I only use Snap On for very, very specific mechanics tools. On the same level as Snap On, I would also go with Matco, Mac or Cornwell.
