Yeah, i plan on it but I'm hoping to be able to use some leverage against them since the problems i have now were not there before the "fix", their a ford dealership, so they still need to answer to ford if complaints are made.
Plus I'm going to be calling an attorney Monday about all of this. Since i bought the truck they've had it more than i have, and with all the problems there is no way they didn't know before they sold it.

well i got an update, I was poking around under the hood playing mechanic and I noticed the hose on the passenger side valve cover going to the intake was brand new. Then I noticed that they used about 4 zip ties to hold it on at the bottom and 3 at the top. So i grabed it and pulled, popped off without any problem it was as loose as hell, I looked and the hose diameter was way too big so I fished some new hose out of my dads garage he had laying around, nice snug fit now and no zip ties. Now when the old one was pulled off i noticed alot of moisture/oil run out, I'm wondering if it was being sucked into the intake and thats what the smoke was about before, also I noticed when i checked the oil it was probably a quart to high, don't know if that could matter too much. But now it runs so much better but with the sporatic "*******" during light acceleration. It seems to shift much better also.

I looked but it got dark to soon, so can anyone point me toward any other hoses that may need checked? Also I need to check my throttle body and MAF and the fuel pressure thing as stated above but I haven't had the time. Am I missing anything?

That hose is the PCV. Oil will always be in that line because it is taking in oil vapor. But if there was a leak there it would be a vacuum leak causing the engine to run lean and give you hesitation. But it also would have ran rough at idle.

One more thing thats been bothering me, i tried to hook it up to a scan tool but the tool just read "ERROR" no matter what i did.
Do i need a special scan tool for my truck?

If you were a quart too high on oil, your crank could have been "bathing" in the oil, which would cause excess drag on the engine (possibly what you described as hesitation/bog).
That could also break the crank/rods, good thing you found it.

If you try to clean your MAF sensor, use the correct cleaner spray and be very careful. They are very sensitive and fragile.

As for your scan tool problem, i would check your fuses since the OBDII port could be dead right now. Just a thought.

Well, i just went through every fuse on the truck and none are blown. So the scan tool is still a mystery.

I have noticed it starts much quicker than before now, before it would crank for a solid 6-7 seconds before starting, nows thats cut in half. Maybe thats all part of the PCM learning process.

Tomorrow I will be going back down to my dads garage to check everything and clean the throttle body, MAF, and check fpdm.

I have looked online at alot of autoparts stores and i am having trouble finding the fpdm. Can anybody post a link for me?
