did you just tape off the reverse tights? then when you were done VHT removed the tape?
i think im going to sand everything down, then tape off reverse, VHT spray, then remove tape and clear whole thing.

I used 4 light coats (the second time). The can says to only use 3 but since i went with lighter coats, i threw an extra one on. And i was told by the place i bought it from to NOT scuff the lights and NOT clear it afterwards. Im glad i didnt because it made it a lot easier to remove when i messed up. If you clear it after, it wont come off. I just wiped a laquer thinner over it and it came right off. Plus if you get pulled over, you wont have to buy new lights.
If you don't scuff the lenses then the tint (basically tinted spray paint) will NOT adhere properly.

I did the night shade to my white 05. After a few hiccups I loved it! Got a newer lariat. Dont really wanna do it to the whole tail lught this time. Just curious is anyone has done the pantu hose over the tail lights?

I'd love to do mine however I have seen many trucks that have melted impressions in the lens because the paint doesn't let the heat escape from the bulb. I laugh every time I see a car/truck that has smoked and melted taillights.
