I think Lifted5.4Lariat sells smoked tail lights. I bought a painted tailgate emblem from him.

I'm not referring to the lenses, if that's what you mean. I just know you can remove the lens, pop out the headlights, and paint that casing or housing black that surrounds the headlights. I might have worded my last question incorrectly.

Did he use black paint or night shades (http://www.vhtpaint.com/products/niteshades/) before the clear coat?

Iam not what brand it was. It's whatever ford uses to paint, he is a painter at the ford dealer I used to work at.

Pretty sure they just dropped some black into clear coat and sprayed em. They don't use the tint stuff
