Smoked out a pair of LED's and blacked out my third brake light.

They all just pop out pretty much, then you unplug the connectors. The reverse/third brake light you unscrew, and it'll just pop out too. Then you just spray the desired amount on. I chose Plasti-Dip so if I screwed up terribly I could just peel it off without too much hassle. Good luck!

I had mine done at my former job by a coworker. Only 3 coats of black, but not sure how many coats of clear. Here's a pic the day they were done.

So you put coats of black, and then the clear pair clears it out? How does that work?

I think the clear coat gives it the shiny look rather than being dull.

It's not "black" its like clear coat with a hint of black to tint it. Tue more coats the more it turns black. The clear in top just gives it the same glossy look of factory paint.
