small red light
I noticed between the steering wheel and head light switch, there's a small red light but when I looked at it to see what its purpose was, I noticed the wires under it had been cut. any idea what this thing was used for? I can post a pic later if needed.

That is an aftermarket alarm led that blinks when the system is armed. Probably had something wrong with it and disconnected it leaving the led to keep a hole plugged.
