Can a wheel wobble due to bad hub? Seems like it will normally start a rubbing/grinding noise.

Havent hit anythint and took about 4 days to start slowly getting worse to where its at now (and its been 2 weeks)

I had wife drive and hung head out window and can see passenger front wobbling a little. I can go around a slow long turn and it stops shaking wheel. Perfectly smooth. Another similar turn and it comes back. Which direction does not matter. Its almost like the front wheels misalign from each other creating shakey wheel but next turn lines them back up and its smooth again. If that makes sense. How outside wheel travels farther than inside wheel. In a sharp turn I can let go of wheel and it does a gentle ratcheting movmenet till it gets back to center.

All lugs are tight but I have no jack heavy enough to get in there so its going to mechanic (family friend. Owns a shop etc) Monday. No thud noises that I can feel or hear. And nothing obvious visually looking around wheel.

Looking for suggestions to toss at him before he tosses a new hub on and that wasnt it. But if a bad hub can cause a wobbly wheel yet stay silent rolling along, then Im assuming thats it.

Bought truck at 113k miles with no mechanical history. 126k now.

If your mechanic friend knows what he's doing, he's likely going to look around before he just starts throwing parts at it... I don't know why but my gut feeling is that it's not the hub... it's easy to check by shaking the wheel when it's jacked up to see if it's tie rods or ball joints
