Misfire. I have same similar issues. If you haven't done plugs do that and change boots/springs.

If you have then you need to chase down a bad coil................

I did plugs about 20k miles ago, all the misfires went away. They are occurring again and I suspect that I need to change my springs/boots and check the coils, but I'm waiting for warmer weather.

How about some vehicle info and service history? We'd be able to give you a little bit more accurate help.

Plugs, fuel filter, clean MAF and Throttle body.

It's a 2005 lariat 5.4. I bought it with a few different issues with plans to fix it . I bought it for a good price from a family friend. I'll change plugs this week and clean the MAF and tell you guys how it went.

When you change the plugs also change the boots and springs on the coils.

Do those come separate from the COP?
