Default Window Regulator?

I hit a bump while driving back from the mountains yesterday and the passenger front window rolled itself down and will not come back up. I think it's the window regulator and I'll have to pull the door apart. Any advise or tips for me? Anything else I should check before tearing into the door?

Thanks!

It's an easy job. Just watch out for the sharp edges, easy to get cut on!

That's never a good feeling, but it's an easy job. I went ahead and did the other side at the same time, it's only a matter of time.

Does anyone know if those yellow plastic bushings (not sure what they're called) that the speaker mounts to are reusable? In the video above (2:15 minutes in) he yanks them out with pliers, wondering how durable those are.

In case someone else stumbles on this and wants to know. I found the speaker nut part number: W709133-S300
Tasca sells them: https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts...ut-w709133s300

Mine have been in and out a couple of times without an issue.

TWSS... sorry had to.
That's good to know. I tend to be good at breaking things that need just a little force to remove.

If you need a temporary fix: pop the door panel off, unplug the wire from the motor, and use a hose clamp on the channel to keep the window held up. I did that to the left rear window on mine and never did fix it before selling.

That's kinda genius. Wish I'd thought of that Sunday. New regulator is supposed to be delivered tomorrow so I'll just pop the new one in.
