Show your snow!

I know many of you have a lot more snow that me, but it is VERY unusual for us to get so much snow, then ice, then more snow.....

We have 6 inches of snow, 1/2" of ice, and 2 inches of snow on top of that, so far. It is still snowing...... My house is only 200 feet above sea level and 6 blocks from the water.

This one was from last night, when it started:

I wish we had snow like that. I would love to go mess around in it and take some pics.

dont have pics but we got some good snow here. But less than usual so far. Its not unusual for it to snow a couple feet at a time here. Las Vegas also got about 3 inches of snow...most snow there in 30 years!

snow

up here in alaska we should be getting a LOT more snow than we are, especially in kodiak... it hasn't snowed for about a month now and it's actually kind of warm. however, when it snows here, we don't freak out and shut everything down... haha, oh no, life doesnt stop because of blizzard conditions, whether it's a 1/2 inch or two feet of snow  nice pics though:thumbsup:

These were taken this morning. This amount of snow is typical for this time of year. With Lake Michigan still being relatively warm and my house being about 10 miles inland, we get a lot of lake effect snow along with the regular storms that pass by. I'd say 18" or so has come down in the last 72 hours. The snow on the table in the last picture is the best measure of what has come down since it is the most shielded from the wind.
