hey vano ford i got my quicklifts in the mail today and they didnt come with any rubber boots.... are yours just installed with the upper rod exposed? id greatly appreciate it if you could take some pics of the whole strut installed

Walkin out to the truck now... give me a few to snap and email myself. I'll take pics of the front and rear. I think the front had no boots, but the rear does. But, pics and visual check will clear up my "thinkin"

Yes, no boots on the front. No rods exposed unless its in the rear.

That's what my setup looks like. No boots in front, but I wouldn't exactly say they are "exposed". I'm not worried about them sustaining any damage.

Only the rears need boots.

FWIW, I've found a perfect ride a 5/4 front/rear. This is just for street though. I've haven't run the gamut of off-road yet.

Desperado, did you get yours installed and tested yet?

When you do the front make sure you spray some penetrating oil on the threaded part that sticks up out of the top and possibly wire brush it before thrying to remove the nut. Mine only had 27000 miles and I broke the 7mm top off trying to remove the nut. Luckily the DREMEL saved the day, had to cut the nut off. And yes I did have a coil spring compressor on it before I cut it off. Total time on mine was around 3 hour total. Good luck.
