Default Shifts into 4th and motor bogs down

Recently, as I'm driving (usually speed is 45-50) the truck will shift into 4th and the motor will bog down almost like it dosent have the Hp to push the truck that speed at that RPM. Is this common? Is this a motor issue or a trans issue?

2006 FX4 SCrew 5.4L 180K new motor within the last 20k.

Sounds like the torque convertor is locking up early.

Do you have a programmer that you have altered settings for?

Might be the TPS sensor causing you the trouble. Can you gas the truck hard when this happens and get it to downshift?

Does it feel like a rumble strip for a second or two? If so, I would throw a bottle of friction modifier additive in the rear differential.
