I recently started noticing this on my truck but shaking starts around 45-50 mph. Recently had my tires rotated and balanced but still happens. Someone Please update if you've resolved this issue, thanks.

One thing I noticed was when I do a u turn the truck seems to bind ,like the front wheels tilt to much and create grabbing jumipng feeling then the truck really drives like crap when you go straight. also noticed at 55-60 feels like the engine is miss firing but ,it isnt, one thing gas milage is great 150 miles per quatertank of fuel. my 08 tundra only got 14 miles per gal. wish I had it back now thow. darn cliff ate my truck.

Wow 150 miles per quarter tank that's insane I'm lucky to get 100....

Hmm.. I recently put on 4 new tires (From stock 265/60/R18 BFG's to 265/60/R18 Firestone LE2's) at 65,000 miles and had an alignment done. Driving was great, smooth as heck for first week or 2, now it seems like my truck is all over the road past 40-50-60mph and when I apply brakes from those speeds, get some vibration and shaking.. Saw a few threads that had to do with warped rotors.. Not sure.. Hope you figure something out

Since it happened after tire install it can be that installers didn't torque the lugs correctly..... And that will cause the rotors to warp.....

In reference to the miss firing/making your truck feel like it the transmission was slipping, replacing the spark plugs and boots will eliminate the problem. It was enough to make it feel like misifiring but not enough to trigger the engine light.

I had the issue where my truck was shaking on the drivers side as if I was going over rumble strips. After constant shop visits with no results they finally figured out what it was. They replaced the torque converter and it fixed EVERYTHING!

Hi gang!!! I am new to the group. I am trying to sell my 2004 F150 SCREW and I have this same vibration around 55mph. It's not as bad as some have mentioned, but definitely noticeable. The guy that test drove it today told me he just sold a 2005 F150 that had the same vibration (he knew to check for it) and the guy that bought it told him it was the four wheel drive actuator. I wanted to check with the folks here on the forum to see if that could be a possibility or if anyone ever came up with a consensus? Did anyone ever post what the TSB was all about??

Super common problem. My 05 does it. But as stated, only at two speeds. If it were something like a torque converter, or an actuator it would probably do it all the time, or all the time at a certain RMP range.
