Serpentine Belt
I have a 2005 F150 and just changed out the serpentine belt. After a couple of hours placing the belt on and taking it back off, the 05 F150 belt that is recommended was 1" to long. I had to purchase a 04 F150 belt, is this normal for the 5.4L engines?

No... never heard of that problem before. Maybe you got a bad brand that's out of spec.

Actually if you look up a 2005 5.4, it lists 103", and a 2008 lists 103-5/8". I had bought a gatorback once for a 2004 or 2005, it was tight to get on/off compared to what was on there, not sure if that much?
