Default seat belt alarm malfunction

My seat belt alarm keeps going off even with the belt buckled. Obviously it is not sensing that it is buckled. I sprayed WD-40 in the latch and it worked for a moment. I disconnected it and connected it and it worked for another moment. Now I am out of options because I can not do the sequence to disarm it if it will not work long enough. Has anyone changed the seat belt latch before? It looks like a royal pain. Any other suggestions?

Truck is '04 4x4 F150

I just don't feel like paying dealer prices for something so stupid

Thanks
Travis

try getting to the wires which connect to the buckle and either cut or connect them permenantly, likely just connect them and the alarm will not go off anymore.
