Car wash by me works really well and its $6; guess it depends on the setup, as this is a newer one and I have plenty of clearance with wider tires and 6" lift.

Russian mafia owns the station; the guy working the counter is East Indian; the night shift lady is Lusitanian, and the beer delivery guy looks Irish. I just wrote this last paragraph so that I too can be called a racist by politically correct standards.

You don't need to appologize to anybody - your post was not racist nor derogatory, unless we're adhering to the most strict form of PC standards here at F-150 Forum. The people crying "racist" so readily is the exact same mentality of former Soviet Russia and modern-day China, where everybody is forced to choose their words carefully for fear of offending somebody based on ethnic, religious, or political lines. My family escaped Communism and PC mentality is far more damaging than any reference to ethnicity [outside a derogatory context].

Freedom of speech - if somebody doesn't like it, then it's their opinion and the Moderators' decision as to where the liberties of written word and Privileges reside here.

Since you're the OP, I'll oblige, but otherwise feel we're tracking off topic.

Short answer: It depends on how we define hate speech. Groups like the Black Panthers and KKK should be allowed to speak freely, but where I draw the line is when there is a call to violence or when derogatory comments pose a risk in that they incite physical harm or undue anguish towards a fellow human.

I don't agree with Louis Farrakhan, but I feel that he has a right to spew his opinion all day long. If he should ever "cross the line" and call for violence or harm towards fellow man/woman (irrespective of color, religion, etc.), then he is subject to the scrutiny of law and even the mass society and its accepted constructs at that point.

If he would have said 'spick' or 'spic', that probably would have been seen as much more legitimately offensive, even perhaps derogatory or even racist.

But he said 'Mexican', which refers to people from Mexico.

If someone calls me an 'American' because I'm from America, is that racist? Obviously not.
