Anyone rockin a safari rack? Love em or hate em? If you have one, please post a pic. I'd like to finally pull the trigger on this mod, but need some inspiration.

Check out this thread, he has one. Loves it. I kind of like it for the looks but getting that tire down when you have a flat would be a B*TCH!

Ok. I get that too. We have pick ups, so why drill and bolt a rack to the roof? I agree... but I still like the look, functionality, and they're a great place to mount lights (360° if you want) and even a spare tire (freeing up your bed if you run bigger tires). Did a quick Google.... found these pics.

Yes! That's what I'm talking about. That truck looks bad ***! Food for thought.... being stuck with a flat and no spare cuz you can't fit it under the bed could be a bitch too.

Me too. Weird thing is that truck is almost identical to mine. Couldn't believe it when I found the pic!

Agreed... that one looks badass.
I just don't like the roof racks enough to do one, but I've considered it.

I have one with a quick detach one on my bed. also have 2 jerrycans to mount to the rack and a 60" hi-lift extreme jack to be mounted still! I made it all myself out of 11 ga 1.5" square steel and i also use it o i can fit 2 quads into the bed of the truck to go to the dunes and the races! Works really good for what i use it for
