Why are you selling it after they fix it? You don't want a salvaged truck or what? Just curious not nitpicking your decision lol. It was a great looking truck

I was looking at getting a newer one before this happened, this just gives me another reason. The truck won't be salvage, damage is only 60% of its worth.

That is crazy. That's why I voted to push for new parts even though it would probably total it. I'm sure they will make it right though.

Don't wait for anything. Tell the shop not to put it on and tell the insurance company it's not at all acceptable. It has to go back how it was.

Tell the insurance company you are not impressed and this kind of crap better not happen any more.

They sent that front end back, they finally gave me a number of what they're valuing my truck at. $12700, so im actually sitting around 72ish% of vehicle worth. My head is spinning from things changing everyday. The body shop has been great, the insurance on the other hand is another story! Another adjuster is coming out to quote the correct front end, I should know something tomorrow.

Well they totaled the truck out a while back. When they came back and requoted for the right parts it was 11,900. It actually bent the frame in the front. I was able to get the bed cover, factory sub, fx4 cluster and leveling kit before they came and got it. I had been looking for a while now and finally decided on its replacement. I was super picky when looking. Sucks that this happened but on to start the next t project.

That sucks that they totaled it, but glad you found the new project to start on. Good luck with the new ride
