Default Thanks for the view on the salt life

That white stuff must be all salt . I can sympathize with you as we were flooded here in august with hermine hurricane it destroyed a lot in several days of salt . I can't imagine a whole season of salt roads . I guess you could pre paint a lot of bolts in the summer . Got to find a way to flush that out of there in winter . That would be a careful procedure in a heated garage .
Some guys must be addressing that .
We drove to a car wash and washed underneath the next few days soap and clear . Some car washes set up to do this .

Wow that's crazy. The hood must have been off that truck for a while or something. Left out to the elements

The truck body and undercarriage are in good shape I always spray the exterior and undercarriage at least once a week in winter to blast off this salt, the road crews are really over aggressive with it which sucks, wish sand was enough, I have never cleaned the engine bay and obviously need to start doing this, can't in my garage it's insulated but not heated so I don't have any water access in there, what is best to use on the engine bay to clean it up just in case I encounter a warm day? How about dealerships? Ever car or truck new and used I've ever looked at has a nice shiny engine bay but I wouldn't trust them to do it
