I have an 08 lariat with chrome bumbers that i bought in october of 08. the truck was made in 11/07. I was just underneath the truck and noticed a light rust on the inside of the rear bumber across the whole length of it. Any one else have this problem. I have to go to the dealership any way for service on something else just wanted to know if i was the only one with issue.

This sucks. I guess ill see what the idiots at the dealership tell me. Just worried about future problems. But if somebody rear ends me i get a new one. LOL not that i really want that

if you are really that worried about it, take it off and paint the inside with por15.

I believe that's true until it's a year old. After that you get a rechromed one. They do rust too.

i have never heard of that, must vary insurance to insurance. i would make sure i get a new oem bumper if i got rear ended.

^^Same here. Not sure what insurance company that guy's using, but I'd find a new one if they tried that on me!
