Thanks.
Yeah it's crazy, the hunt still continues. It had been driving a lot more like normal but happens intermittent. This week it was much better and only happened every once in awhile, and tonight it happened the whole way home.

To get back to this thread though, received my cowl ends and installed today, very easy to install and fits well. Shipping was also very fast. Great fix!

Default Locking tabs on cowl ends

Hi all, sorry about the slow response, I used to get notified about posts about my product but? Yes, they have little ridges on the tabs that lock the cowlends into place. You have to pull the retainer pins and lift up the edge of the cowling a little bit, insert the locking tabs from above, down through the existing holes in the cowl, then GENTLY pull from underside of cowl to seat them into place. They can almost be "pressed" into place from above but I just described the correct installation. Love being a paying advertiser on this forum, overwhelming positive support for our product and have found great advice for shocks, exhaust, and passing on cold air intake. Michael@cowlends.com
ps, any of you have ANY problems with these whatsoever just let me know and we will show you some kicka## customer service!

Got my cowlends today. Fit almost perfect and were real easy to install following the instructions. Other then breaking one of the little tabs, this is way better then buying the whole cowl. Matches almost perfect to my bed-liner cowl. Looks to be a solid product, good job on making these for our trucks.

Put new ones on mine today.
What is the purpose of these 2 little end pieces by the way? Why are there 2 small separated pieces at the ends instead of having the whole cowl piece longer at the ends by just another inch??

My truck doesn't have the plastic/rubber end cowl pieces. I'm getting a rattle going 50mph+down the road it's coming from that general area any ideas?

This has to be one of the easiest installs I have done to my F150. It took longer to open the shipping envelope then it took to install! Great product, fast shipping, and easy install!
