Default ABS question

I change the 2 brake lines from the master cylinder to the abs box, and now the abs light is on. Will this go off after I bleed the brakes or will I need a abs scan tool? Thanks .

I'm thinking it should re-set itself when it sees proper pressure. Disconnect the battery to re-set the light when done bleeding.

I bled the master and the brake pedal is right up but after driving for a bit the pedal will go down a bit and abs light comes on sometimes and goes off sometimes. I’m hoping that bleeding the brakes will fix this and I won’t need a scan tool. I’m waiting on my new caliper before I can bleed them.
