Question Rubber / vinyl floor repair

Ford F-150 XL HD FX4 pkg
5.4L, S-cab, 8ft bed
235k miles

This truck started as a "fleet truck", and they must have installed a mount / equipment of some sort on the floor between the front seats. Now there is a cutout where it used to be.

Question: What can I use to to repair this?

Also, the answer to this question is not "duct-tape" or something else equally silly. Thank you.

Looking at the picture, is it completely cut out, or just rolled back?

I'd say patch or maybe some type of adhesive/bonding agent.
That....or...replace the whole section

Such as?.... Do you have any suggestions of ones you have worked with?

I have never worked with any.
My first thought was a hot glue gun, but IDK how that would turn out.

I also thought of using that stuff that uses UV light to bond. I think it might work, but again I was looking for someone who has done something similar. Best case is they have pictures of before & after.

Well, I've no experience doing it myself. Just throwing some things out there that I would try. We've got peeps who are great detailers, inside and out. Maybe they'll chime in.

I'd replace the whole piece. And that's not an FX4.

Neither have I. I was just suggesting.

Maybe some black permatex?
