Default RPM PROB!!! Help me out please!!

Ok so my truck has been fine Up until I got an edge Evo on my truck about 2 weeks ago. After installing the programmer I noticed the RPM had topped when idling in gear but I thought maybe it just the programmer. Well I changed it back to stock and it was still low so I just set the Evo on a performance setting and turned up the rpm idle. Now about 2 weeks later my truck drops so low at a stop sign it wants to die. It actually did choke out on me today after stoping at a stop sign. Can anyone please help. I'm really really worried!!

im having the same issue! :S truck idles way to low when stopping, or turning slowly, sometimes stalls. I just installed an Edge Evo, however the problem was happening before too. Now this evening my CEL lit up throwing the code P0430. ??? is this related? I already tried "relearning" the computer as it says in the manual, but no change. It has a flomaster exhaust system but thats been on for about a year with no issues. any help?

My was throwing a code saying something about the emissions evaporation censer and said to change my tuning. I thought maybe it's because I wasn't running 91 oct. so I changed it and no code now but idle is still WAY too low. I dk what to do now either?

I have the same problem with my truck but no tuner... The code says to change my iac valve but doesn't have one... I've read that if you take the throttle body off and clean it real good it will fix the problem... One guy told me that the iac valve is built into the throttle body motor and to replace it and it should fix my problem.... Mine started doing it after I changed a coil pack

if u disconnected your battery it might be a simple fix to try "relearn" your computer for idleing. if your battery gauge is normal its probably not your alternator. in the manual theres a maitenance section, in there is a step by step process to make your idle normal.
