My 08's had RP and K&N filter since bought new... 89k now... Run it 7500+ , Add a quart around 5000 miles

I also "Hotrod" the truck alot if that makes a diffrence? And should i use the 5/20 or 5/30?

Looks like people have their ups and downs with it

Synthetic lasts longer than conventional, especially at higher temps. I use 5w-30 and it quiets the motor down more than the 20

Mobil 1 5/30 and Motorcraft filter here. I've been running it for 50k miles with no complaints at all.

The previous owner used Motorcraft 5/30 and Motorcraft filter for roughly 30k miles.

Ran Royal Purple for 10k. No issues motor ran great. Ran Mobil 1 for the last 2 changes, both 5k interval. Motor runs great no issues. I can't really tell a difference,

Oil is oil. As long as you routinely do your maintenance I was told this by mechanics that tear down motors all the time.

I agree. If Mobil 1 is used in 1000HP+ motors then I would use it on my stock Triton,.

Yup. Motorcraft factory filter and Mobil 1 5W20 for me. I change my oil every 10,000km.
