Full synthetic is the key rather which brand of oil you buy. With that, Mobil 1 should be your choice as it is less expensive then most and is an outstanding proven oil.

Stick with one or the other, don't switch around. Mobil is easier to find and cheaper.

I hate Royal Purple. Tried it in my bike and wouldn't dissipate enough heat and made the bike over heat and run like garbage.

Ran it in my 5.0 Mountaineer and used a quart every 1000 miles and that truck had never burned a drop of oil in its life, switched back to Kendall and never burnt another drop.

Currently using Full Synthetic Valvoline because I get it for $4 a quart at work.
