Yes, it amplifies voltage, up to around 200,000 volts per plug, resulting in 9.8hp per plug, so good guess rounding up!

Production date stamp on driver side head, you're hoping it's Oct 9, 2007, or later. See this thread:

E3 is a good spark plug for a lawn mower or other small engine. Don't know how well they do with automotive though.

E3's great for your engine if you want to pay 3 times the price with no decernable increase in performance or mileage and in my case feed your engine small pieces of scrap metal as the ground electrode broke off and was digested by the engine [2001 Jeep 4.0]

I don't care if those were dyno proved at 9.8 hp boost per cylinder, there is no way in heck I'm gapping that on an 8 cylinder engine

Yea - till it comes off and rattles around on top the piston or gets caught in the exhaust valve seat and stamps an imprint of the valve head on the piston.

Guys, I posted it as a joke....... they were a gimmick plug from the 80's......Oddly enough, some people used them. Not sure why......
