Default Roush liquid Propane injection F-150

Hey guys I’m new to the forum and wanted to know if anyone else had a 2007 F-150 Roush lpg that runs on liquid propane.

Never seen one before. Don't propane powered vehicles produce around 15-20% less horsepower and torque than regular gasoline?

From my experience owning one I would say that it produces the same power and torque as the gas engine the only main difference is that it run a lot cleaner and is better for the environment than gas, diesel or cng Vehicles

The power output will be down but I don't think by that much. The mileage will definitely be down though, likely by 25% or so. Propane has only about 75% the heat energy per gallon of gasoline, so you have to burn a correspondingly greater amount to get the same net power output. As a result, a greater portion of the charge volume is fuel and you effectively reduce the displacement of the engine. I used to do LPG conversions in the 80's when gas had it's big price spike. When gas was hitting $1.00/gal, LPG was in the $.40-.45 range and a lot of farmers were converting. I don't recall seeing a significant reduction in power, but the MPG hit was apparent. Of course we weren't dyno-ing anything so I can't say with certainty how much power was lost.
An old friend from those days was still in the business until just a few years ago, and before retiring he was driving a factory '07 LPG truck. It was an HDPP/7700# but not a Roush.
LPG certainly does burn cleaner than gas (or diesel) but not CNG, that's about as emission free as you can get, although it's heat energy is even worse than LPG. Propane engines stay remarkably clean internally, and at oil change time the old oil looks almost like new.

Yeah, the financial incentive is long gone. Propane has become stupid expensive.

You'll know when you're behind a vehicle that runs on LPG. It's not a great smell.

CNG on the other hand, you can't detect any odor.
