Default rough idle and stall in reverse

I am stuck on this engine I bought the truck in april and it ran great for a few months and then lost power and then my cats clogged and I only have 3 cylinders firing

I changed the cats, plugs, coils to start and it still continued to stall. so I went on and changed the VCT solenoids, cleaned my throttle body and my MAP sensor. After this is still continued to rough idle and stall but not as much. So I went to the next step and changed my oil pump, cam sensors and did a timing job. Along with that I changed my fuel rails and my intake manifold, gaskets and line.

I have gone through everything I can think of and it is still rough idling and stalling, however it does not stall in drive anymore and it’s strictly when I try to reverse that is boggs out and stalls.

If anyone knows anything please help i’ve been stuck on trying to fix it longer than i’ve owned it.

Thank you - 26andrew

Wow, holy parts cannon! No offense intended. One thing, did you clean out the oil pan and oil pickup tube when you did the timing job?

Need to diagnose with codes and live data from the OBDII port. Look at all the parameters but especially maf (g/s), fuel rail pressure, short and long fuel trims both banks, O2 sensors both banks and both sensors on each bank, RPM, water temp, air temp, and baro.

Also, since you did all that work, did you put a guage on oil pressure noting for cold start as well as pressure when warm?

no mention of motor, mileage, codes, oil type/condition/history, or how you determined it was firing on only 3 or which 3???

not much to go on here besides seeing long list of new parts.
