I just replaced my rear rotors and pads from Napa with the best parts you can buy, the truck brakes like a brand new truck and will last longer than putting cheap parts in. i guess the ?? is, are you going to keep the truck for along time or be buying a new one in the future or money is tight at the time. If you can afford it and your keeping the truck put the best parts in, if not go cheap but you will replacing the parts more often.

Two years ago I dropped Duralast rotors and Duralast Gold pads for my WRX based on reviews from folks who track the car and would rather not spend 100+ on a set of rotors per weekend. I'm still very happy with performance, notice no excessive wear, no squealing, and it still stops on a dime (for a 3klb + "compact"). Should/when I do the brakes on my truck, I intend to do the same, though I might spring for the upgrade to the Duralast Gold cmax (really, guys? That's a ****ing mouthful. Almost as bad as the Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Spec. RA. -R)

Try r1 concepts, they are cheaper than Autozone and you can get 60,000 miles out of them with no squeaks or anything. Plus the rotors are zinc coated so they don't rust. http://www.r1concepts.com/default.aspx?

I would say absolutely. If you ever come across a situation where you on your brakes with all your weight trying to stop, you don't want the thought of "damn I should've had better brakes" rolling around in your head. One of the reasons quality parts are more expensive is because they provide confidence in the consumer since they're made to higher tolerances.
