rize 8" lift
#21
I don't remember it being in their catalog or anything. I asked about it because I had done a little bit of research on the different lift companies. The rep (his name is Dan, great guy) that was handling my order is/ was friends with the owner of Rize. From what I experienced and have heard is that he is not a very responsible guy. Rize does build a great lift, but their customer service is crap. They stopped answering Dan's phone calls because he was bugging them everyday about getting my parts. I finally got tired of waiting and called Rize myself. That finally got the ball rolling. But my truck was at 4wheel parts for about 2 months because they had it all torn down expecting the kit to be there on a certain day. When it finally arrived it was missing some parts. So then we had to get back in touch with them and have them send the missing parts. Then the build got a little further. Then there were some other parts missing from the kit. So we had to get them to send those. 4wheel parts was getting pretty upset because this whole time of getting the run around, the Ford dealership had been providing me a rental car. The dealership's time limit had then been reached, so 4wheel parts had to take over the rental car payment. It was a very angering process.

I have nothing but good things to say about the product. But nothing but bad things to say about the companies organization and customer service.

What size are you're wheels?

Sounds like the story of my (truck's) life. . . It doesn't matter what the modifaction is, where it's going, or the original though-out difficulty, if it has to deal with my truck then it's going to be a roller coaster ride of concerns and dollar signs.

Thanks everyone! The wheels are 22". ( wish I would have just put 20's on it) The Kumhos were ok when they were new, now that they are half wore out, they aren't so good. I've been tossing the idea around of painting bottom of truck black to match grill and put 20" fuel rims with either toyo mt's or nitto trail grapplers.
