I bought an 04 in the beginning of December. I live in Columbus Ohio and have driven it to Chicago and back already. It has 79,000 miles on it. I couldn't be happier. I love it.

I bought a 06' Screw with 85k miles back in August and I've already spent over 4 grand in repairs (Timing tensioners, phasers, plugs (twice), injectors, cats, ect.) But now that everything is fixed and out of the way, she's running like a champ and I love the truck! I've loved the truck all along, just wish all these major repairs didn't come all at once after 2 months of owning it haha

Well I was pretty set on spending around $24k on a newer(used) truck but I think it would be smarter to find a 04-08 with more miles and spend closer to $15k. Here is a different question. I don't care for the aesthetic value of leatehr but I love how it doesn't stain like cloth. I hunt and fish a lot and sometimes have wet pants from leaky waders. I don't think damp clothes would cause any problems to the basic leather but I have seen issues with staining on the King Ranch leather? IS the leather too high maintenance in the King Ranch for a truck that doubles as a hunting vehicle?

Make sure you post a a before and after thread on your procharger install I myself want to do this sooner than later if I can get a good deal on a kit.

Not at all. I hunt/fish out of my king ranch 2-3 times a week and my seats get wet/dirty every time. They always end up looking just as good as they did before getting wet. Good floor mats are key tho.

No problem at all. If you find a good king ranch in your price range jump all over it. I love the options mine has.

Same thing happened with my wife's used Audi, but they are very expensive compared to the Ford!

king ranch seats are really high maintenance ( condition them every month or so to keep them looking like new) you should look at an Fx4
