I don't doubt they're bright. But think of how much brighter they'd be with a reflective bowl

I use the zevo LEDs that direct all light back at the reflector bowl, so with an led like that you'd be losing a bit.

The black looks great though!

Well they ARE chrome now (since I ditched the retro's) and really not much different, just more scattered actually.

Bright!

I was on the fence with the amber zevos for a while, but they penetrate and project really well. Up close is kinda ehh, but they're blinding at a distance.

I treied the switchbacks about a year ago. But they were jdm astars nicest stuff which wasn't great at all. They all had diodes start to flicker after a couple months and I realized they're junk.

My retrofit is complete!

I decided to leave the turn signal and side markers stock, and painted the shrouds dark shadow grey. The grey shrouds match my truck, and they provide just a light bit of accent. I couldn't quite go chrome. The chrome shrouds look good on the black truck but I think in my case I had an opportunity to go dark grey and I think it worked out
