Default Replacing 5.4 triton with different engine

Looking to replace existing 5.4 Triton with any other Ford engine in my 2005 F150. Can anyone direct me to sources, articles, websites dealing with engine swaps?
appreciate any help.
thanx

Is this just a side project swap that you can take months to do or a “need it done kinda quick” daily driver?

If you seek the latter scenario, you best swap in another 5.4.

I guess a Coyote would be a somewhat feasible swap. I’m sure you can find a video on YouTube on that.

I looked up a 10th Gen Coyote swap video some time back, and from what I surmised, it took this shop about a year and a half to iron that out to where it was roadworthy. This shop seemed like they knew what they were doing, too.

The days of buying an Adapto Kit are long gone. Modern compterized engine controls make swaps difficult to impossible unless you are building a vehicle from the ground up.

For sure! Gone are the days where you can swap out an engine and transmission with a hoist, pulley, some chains and a strong tree branch. What could be done with three friends, a case of beer and two large pizzas on a Saturday afternoon is a relic of the past.

21st century automobiles are not like a 1966 Impala.
