Bottom End Knock/Tick from pass. side oil pan
So at the stop lights tonight I heard this ticking sound coming from my pickup. I pulled over and crawled underneath the thing and low and behold there is a nasty knock/tick coming from the oil pan. It is not the cam phasers, its coming from the oil pan. Im guessing crank bearings? Can anyone help me out here, there are videos. but it says my video couldn't be uploaded because of a security token. whatever the **** that means! I just put them on youtube. Check it out

Yeah, I don't think its the torque converter bolts. Although the knock/tick does change noise when I turn on the defrosters and or AC. When I put it in reverse and hold the break the knock almost disappears but when its at idle or in drive idling it ticks to beat ta hell.

So it looks like we're rebuilding the bottom end. What all do I need to get. Just main bearings, oil pump, crankshaft inspected, gaskets, seals for bottom end? What all goes into replacing the bottom end? Connecting rods too and wrist pins? How about journals? How about pistons and piston rings? Does any.company make a bottem end rebuild kit? And what all is included?

Wow, thanks for all the advice everyone. One single reply and the guy was talking about a Chevy car. What a helpful community. I'll be deleting THIS account promptly.
