Injector tick is harmless and you can tell, usally all of them do it, its just tick-tick-tick- from each one as it gets its signal to spray. Now injector malfunction will cause a code or misfire usually. I have seen more of injector failures tend to stick open dumping fuel to a given cylinder. You will know this if it happens and need a repair quickly to not melt your converter.

Problem solved!! The number 6 plug was extremely loose and looked pretty bad. Ironically, that's the only plug I didn't change when I did my own because the transmission shop I took it to changed just that one for me several months ago. It was misfiring badly and it was the middle of winter so I didn't touch it. Just can't trust any shop to do the job the right way. Anyway, I'm extremely happy that it was something simple like this and not some issue with the motor like it was sounding to be. Thanks to everyone for the advice and tips.
