04 f150 5.4 242,000 miles
hello all. james here. used to be jamesyarbrough here back in the day. still got my f150
rebuilt the trans a couple years ago. changed the plugs twice. did some brakes. thats about it since i bought the truck. been running synthetic oil 5w30 and 0w40 grades and have never needed to work on the valvetrain. no rattles or ticks.
anyway i was wondering if you guys have found a cost effective way to replace the carrier bearings yet rather than replace the drive shaft? mine is in need for sure.

No, but this is cheaper than OEM and the carrier bearing is replaceable:
