removing left side trim panel of dash
 

I received my new Edge CTS tuner and have been trying to figure out how to remove the left trim panel (faces driver's door) without breaking the pins. The panel in my old Ranger was where the fuse box sat and was easy to pop off. This panel has the air pipe for the side window defogger.

Is there an easy way to remove this panel without screwing it up? I'm thinking a screwdriver will damage the plastic. I do have a trim removal tool somewhere in the toolbox.

I pulled on the hole on that panel. When the edges started to pop up I had to use a flat head for one of the clips.

I'll give that a try. I know the panel was off when they installed a remote starter. But that was 2000 miles away and I cannot walk in to ask how they did it.

I just installed an edge evo and had the same problem. The middle two pins came off easily. The bottom one I used a long flat head screw driver and from the back side pushed the clip in and came right out. The top on I could not get off at all so I moved the panel around to get the cord around the back side.

Stick your fingers in that small vent hole? And pull hard. It'll come right off

Exact thing I did and had no problems with anything breaking.

went in this morning and pull on the vent hole. Popped right out as everyone suggested. Thanks for the tip
