Everytime i have had to disconnect my battery for more than a few min, the truck has had to relearn the idle. Like when i did my heads. It was off for two weeks. I think i remember seeing some sort of relearn process but, after driving for a day or two, and running the truck with the A/C on it relearned it.

Thanks I was thinking something like that could happen but I wasn't sure if it would if I just had the cables off for a few mins

No problem.

If it doesnt get any better try cleaning out the IAC. If i remember correctly one of the times it did not relearn and it was because the IAC was sticking so.
