Related problems? ABS and Shake

A few weeks ago I was home doing some deer hunting, the following day I went by the car wash to clean up the truck before I headed back to school, and I noticed the ABS light came on as I pulled into the car wash...

As I drove back to school, I also noticed that between 58 and 61 mph, my truck was shaking, a lot, and even up to 75mph, the shaking was still noticeable. The next day I went down to the Advance and it read the 1230 code, for the center speed sensor.

It never crossed my mind that these might be related, I just figured it might need aligned or tires re-balanced, but before I go spend the money on that, do you think there would be any reason for these to be related?

Thanks all, while I'm asking, where did you guys get your replacement sensors? Online or local store? Where was cheapest for a quality one?

Thanks!
Wyo

If it helps at all, I tried to kinda remap the shaking today, and it seems to start around 55, get worse and worse through 61-62, then slows down but still noticeable on up.

Also noticed a little rear end shudder as I make right turns from a stop? Not sure if this is related either, just trying to provide as much information as possible! :)

Thanks again!

truck's telling you what's wrong DTC 1230...replace it...it could cause the shutter and vibration.. but you stated it happened after mudding...could of ripped a wire or got mud packed in a sensor...

Alright I'll start with that, thanks man!
Would you recommend OEM part for the sensor or would an Advance sensor be okay?

I would buy an aftermarket sensor...you will get a lifetime replacement with it...

Alright got the new ABS sensor in there, light gone, all set there.
Still have the shake around 60mph, must be something tire related...

check your wheel weights...they come off also during mudding...may have even knocked it out of alignment...glad your ABS light is gone..

I wasn't mudding hard by any means, but it's going to get rotated and balanced here in an hour or so, hopefully that takes care of it.
