If you hold your trip reset button for 15 seconds then turn the key to run wait for the test to appear, then start it it has bulb test digital tac, speed and a bunch of other cool things.

Always thought this was a cool thing just thought someone else would like to know!

Yep. If you search here, you'll see this has come up before! many cool things can be found on this site with the search. Give it a try. There's tons of good info here; just buried in the thousands of posts.

So is the ignition off when you hold the trip, then turn it on?

Turn the key one click till the radios on, hold the trip reset down for 15 seconds. Turn the ignition to run while holding the trip reset down. Let go of the trip reset button and click it to go threw the menu.
