Yeah, I live in Alberta and we use Salt mainly and I can't remember what the tach was doing.

I had a caliper blow the seal out. I drove with it for a few months actually but on every long road trip that allowed the brakes to heat up, the caliper would stick when I was at a stop. I had to rev it up and it would pop and then we were off to the races.

I would keep driving it and if you drive for a long period, say an hour or so... Get out and put your hand on the rims and see if any of them are hotter than normal. When mine was stuck, the driver side front tire was smoking hot compared to the others. Mine never stuck while the brakes were cold but only after hard braking or long periods of time.
