I'm going to put new gears and bearings in my 2004 f150 supercrew. I want to buy a different rear and rebuild it out of the truck and take my time doing so. I have several 9.75 heritage style rear end assemblies avalible to me for cheap. I know the pinions are interchangeable 97 to 06. Is the the housing interchangeable also. I know the axles and end plates are different. I'm just interested in the rear and housing

How are you going to rebuild an axle with just the pumpkin to worth with?
