I need a new rear end/gears on my 05 F150. I was wondering what the ballpark estimate was on a used one. Anything helps! Thanks.

 

Are you swapping out the whole thing? Last time I bought one for an e350 it was around 800 bucks . Haven't priced one for an f150. Just make sure you find the right gears.

 

I think alsatroine's price is pretty constant with what I've seen. but if you buy a used axle, you don't really know what type of shape it's in... you could have your truck regeared with new bearing and seals for that price... if you need a new carrier add $500 to that
